Short Sale Essentials: “What in the World?” and “Why the Heck?”

After the “Mr. Fancy Pants” video earlier in the week about Shaun’s $87k lesson, I mentioned we’re going to be putting out a ton of cool, free stuff throughout the month of April.

I want to kickoff with a couple of really interesting case studies that recently hit my radar –

  1) one with Patavee ($57,019.84 on her first short sale deal)
  2) and another with James ($7,750 on his first ever deal, but also 9 more in the pipeline in a TOTALLY tanked NV market).

I recorded them yesterday, but I still have to edit them.  So in the meantime I thought I’d go ahead and share the first titillating segment from a paid workshop Shaun recently gave called “Short Sale Essentials“.

(Btw, “titillating” is just a fun word, don’t you think? :) )

So this is the beginning of the titillating workshop, where he covers…

  • How and why can ”killing your pride” make you more successful?
  • What in the world is a short sale anyway?
  • What does a short sale / foreclosure really look like through the lenders’ eyes?
  • Why the heck would a lender even consider a short sale? (very specific reasons)
  • Judicial Vs. Non-Judicial foreclosure (what is it, and why’s it matter?)
  • Why and how understand seeing through the lender’s eyes can give you an edge.

Get the Flash Player to see this player.

That should get you started… but keep an eye out for a bunch more really cool free stuff that I’m going to be sending you.  More content videos and those nifty case studies.

Please go ahead and leave a comment below… tell me what you think of Short Sale Essentials: “What in the World?” and “Why the Heck?”

I’m on board with everything Shaun has to say.
My wife could not be more adverse to it all.

One of the reoccuring questions she brings up during our “discussions” is why would someome (any REI expert); sell their secrets, take time away from making millions, teach others to be competitors and then sell their system (years of work) for $1500?

In the case of Shaun especially, since we are in the St. Louis area also.
I have to say, it is a question in the back of my mind also.

    Thanks in advance,
    Anxious

    Eric,

Shaun and I are friends. I also teach short sales so I have received a similar question. First, you and your wife’s skepticism is understandable. In this day and age it isn’t uncommon to see self-proclaimed gurus capitalize on people willing to pay them thousands for over-inflated and non-proven …thus useless real estate information. However that is not the case for Shaun. Shaun is willing to allow you to look inside his exact businses model so you can be succesful. He would rather see others succeed than simply making his wallet fatter. I think one way to determine if the person you are considering working with is a fraud or not is by simply “googling” them. With all the blogs and forums available to the public it isn’t hard to find the shi-sters.

Shaun is not one of them. You will get phenomenal, useful and PROVEN information you can apply to your business if you invest time learning from him. I don’t talk like this about very many people.

I hope you feel better and have an different perspective now.

    Hey JP and Shaun…

Love the FREE video (information)! VERY informative (go figure) and interesting! Please keep it coming!

I’m new to the ‘SS’ arena, and am excited with the prospect of beginning REI - becoming financially independent aka - getting away from my J-O-B.

Where I live (eastern Massachusetts), foreclosures are increasing hand-over-fist - records being broken monthly (at least that’s what’s reported in the news). It seems this would be a VERY lucrative method of REI in my area.

So, great job! A great beginning to some all around great (and FREE) information! I got caught-up and engrossed in Shaun’s lecture that I was taken by surprise (and saddened) when the video ended. Can’t wait for the other vids to be posted. Kudos and a BIG thank you to you and Shaun for putting this together!

    Warmes regards!

    Darryl

I was looking for something like this for the long time. My husband lost a job in 2004 and then decided that the he is deadly disease. well as of right now I have two jobs, mortgage and son and husband I love and pule every little strain to keep going. Cannot pay for course but will try to apply everything I learned, to at least help my customer to walk out away from foreclosure, the only question I have will it be reasonable to start negotiation with lender there is no late payment yet?
    Thank you.
